Ako porozumieť mestu a jeho ľuďom? (A guidebook on participative urban planning)

A guidebook on participative urban planning and urban data research, 2021

The new guidebook I edited and co-authored provides complex ways on how to involve people in city planning. Municipalities, architects and developers can draw from it.

A participatory process with people can improve the quality of projects thanks to getting to know opinions, harmonize different interests and prevent conflicts, and also strengthen the mutual trust of residents, especially towards local governments. The new participation manual summarizes the previous experience of MIB experts and offers comprehensive guidance to all those who want to harmonize the interests of different groups of people in their projects.

The book was published by Metropolitan Institute of Bratislava in 2021.
